Yeah, so I can't believe Ethan Taylor Cole is now 5 years old. My little baby boy has turned into such a big man. He really cracks me up. I guess that goes with his birthday, April 1st. Celebrating we went to Los Portales in Union City, TN, where he actually wore a sombrero and enjoyed the guys there serenade him. We took him a cake and he blew out the candles. Well, should I say "Spit" out the candles. The next week we went all out and celebrated at Yaya's Island in Paducah with most of the cousins and some great friends. He absolutely loved it. We had to have a lesson on blowing out the candles. And being true to Ethan, he asked John to blow out the candles for him so he wouldn't be embarrassed. But, he did great :) The week in-between this we went to Branson, MO, which deserves several posts all its own so more to come on that later.
A few things about Ethan- he loves Angry Birds at the moment. Along with Thomas the Train and Lightning McQueen. He absolutely adores his baby sister Linley and wants to hold her all the time. He and Caleb are inseparable. Even though a majority of the time they act like that are going to kill each other, when given the option of other friends they always stay with each other. Caleb adores him. Ethan talks non-stop for the most part and is still his Momma's boy. However, he loves his Daddy and is the spitting image of him. He has his Dad's analytical mind and creativity. It's unreal the way the kid thinks. This next year is going to be full of things happening with Homeschool starting and he is now in T-ball like a big boy.
Happy Birthday Ethan Taylor Cole. I love you!! May God bless you this year and the many years to come. May you grow in Him. You are a true joy.
